Nada. Goose Egg. Big Fat Zero

So, 14 troops from my squadron flew for 30 hours to get to Elmendorf AFB, Alaska for the 15 EMTF/715 AMOG annual awards conference.  The award winners had a lot of fun--the scenery is beautiful, the sledding hill was a blast, and the reindeer sausage is fantastic.  Then came the banquet.  Not only did we get zero individual awards, the squadron didn't win in a single category as well.

No wind in our sails, now.  I wasn't so disappointed that I didn't win for CGO/year.  The guy I lost to ran the only fuels flight to be attached to an Army unit since WWII.  In Iraq.  I can't top that.  The fact that the squadron, which I think is really doing great things out here, didn't win a single award really hit us all pretty hard.  I've got some morale to improve now.
